The Team

Mark was born in Melbourne and after a considerable stint at Radio School found himself in country radio initially then provincial and Cap City markets both as a Presenter/Host of varied formats including – Talk Back, Music & Sport. He also produced morning Radio shows for the likes off Denis Scanlan, Paul Makin and other major notables at that time. After being told he would have to take the same challenge and start all over again to get into Television, he commenced his TV career in Townsville with both TNQ 7 and the ABC where he received a fabulous grounding for multi-tasking roles including hosting and producing a current affairs and weekly documentaries. After a stint at Win 4 Wollongong Mark finally got home to his beloved Melbourne as part of the new dynamic team selected by the the late, Michael Schilberger to take the Ten Network from oblivion into the main Melbourne competitive mix.

This was done and it wasn’t before long that Mark had secured a substantial viewer following in the Melbourne market. Suddenly becoming very ill, Mark’s demise at the time helped launch the career of a young girl from University doing work experience in the newsroom by the name of Yana Wendt; who later went on to become one of the highest paid TV personalities in Australian History.
Years later, world traveled and a very successful background in Property and Development, Mark is trying to recover his career and is honored to have been able to co-host Digital 31′s Caravan & Camping Show.

If Peta isn’t keen curious about something, it’s just not kosher. She’s been a one-woman presenting/producing unit on the Southern Cross TEN TV chat show State Focus interviewing names such as Glenn McGrath, Dr David Suzuki, Mark Webber, David Strassman, Terri Irwin, Mal Meninga, Don Burke and discovering stories about locals making a difference outside the big smoke. From eating raw Bogong moths, almost getting locked in a new prison cell, getting a crash-course in Croation while learning some anglers have sexy legs, cuddling creepy crawlies, fending off overly amorous pooches to discussing biscuit recipes with a former Queensland Premier there’s still a truck load to add to Peta’s “To Do” list.

She’s hit the radio airwaves, worked as a television journalist with Southern Cross TEN, NBN, WIN, Prime and Channel 7, started her own business, is co-writing a book, founded “Pop Ur Feet Up” (a feel good day for families) and spends any spare second as an MC. So, whether this proud Queenslander has a thousand questions to ask someone or is simply excited about clear blue skies or eager to try her hand at jumping out of a plane, climbing bridges or hand feeding stingrays, there’s always something to learn and she finds it fun, fulfilling and her enthusiasm is infectious. In Peta’s words, “the world’s one huge book worth reading and I bet you won’t put it down!”
